The four-day event includes tasting, winemakers dinners, a shrimp boil, and cooking classes. The Grand Tasting on Saturday showcases hundreds of fine wines from many locations. Art, History, Gardens at Shelburne Museum has many interesting exhibits, buildings, and gardens scattered throughout a large lakeside property. Climb aboard the restored steamboat Ticonderoga, the last walking beam side-wheel passenger steamer in existence. Exhibit: How People Make Things at ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center. Inspired by Mister Rogers’ Factory Tours, the exhibit brings manufacturing experiences to life, taking visitors onto the factory floor through hands-on activities in cutting, molding, deforming and assembly. Cow-Tipping and Other Yucks. Vermont Comedy Club does plenty of comedy beyond old-time cracker barrel humor (still funny, by the way). This comedy club, built inside the old Armory, consists theater , a bar/lounge with craft cocktails and snacks, and a classroom for anyone who wants to do it himself. The weekly calendar is packed.
