Tank and the Bangas on May 25 at MASS MoCA, North Adams, MA — A party band that echos the sounds of Sly and the Family Stone, Tank and the Bangas brings and evening of joyful sound and dance. Revolutionary War Encampment on May 25 at Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum, Wethersfield, CT — During the Revolutionary War Encampment, visitors can interact closely with the 5th Connecticut Regiment in full colonial dress, and enjoy entertaining demonstrations of 18th-century medicine, open-fire cookery, camp life, marching and musket firing and music. At 1 p.m. there will be a skirmish with a dashing band of British redcoats. Children are invited to learn to march and perform drills with wooden “muskets.” 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Season Opening at Scarborough Marsh on May 25 at Scarborough, ME — The season opening weekend will be filled with canoe and walking tours, nature crafts, used book and bake sale, demonstrations, exhibits, and more. A free bird walk happens on Sunday at 7:30 a.m. The weekend will be capped off with the Snowy Egret 5K road race. The event is free but there will be a cost for some tours. 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Nitro Circus on May 25 at McCoy Stadium, Pawtucket, RI — The best athletes in FMX, BMX, skate, scooter, and more attempt record-breaking feats and spectacular stunts. The huge setup features the Giganta ramp – now with its biggest takeoff ever – launching riders five stories into the air. 8 p.m.
Virtu Art Festival 2019 on May 25-26 at Wilcox Park, Westerly, RI — The festival will present the selected works of professional artists and crafts persons. Virtu will be a showcase for both the visual arts and performing arts. Held rain or shine.

Planet Zydeco on May 25 at Next Stage Arts Center, Putney, VT — For the past fourteen years, Planet Zydeco has been bringing the dance hall music of Louisiana to clubs and festivals throughout New England and New York. They are pleased to welcome Cannon Labrie, who also plays with popular Cajun band Yankee Chank, on accordion and vocals. Next Stage offers a gumbo dinner starting at 6 p.m., and Planet Zydeco plays their high energy accordion/guitar driven dance music of Louisiana at 7 p.m.
