Seacoast Soups at 85 Lafayette Road in North Hampton, NH – Whether or not you can define it, you will find Mulligatawny soup at this restaurant, which rotates its soup menu regularly. Vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free soups are easy to find on the menu, which, in a recent week, included creamy parsnip, three bean chili, chicken noodle, spicy Thai, lemon chicken orzo, broccoli cheddar, split pea with ham, African peanut, Moroccan couscous, tomato, and beef stew. It’s an omnivore menu but there are many, many choices for vegetarians. There is a hot and a cold buffet, and the odor of fresh-baked bread blankets the block. Its soups – the point of interest here – are rich, traditional, and packed with fish (save the French onion).
