Did the thrilling end to The Masters at The Augusta National Golf Club give you the urge to break out the clubs for the spring? If you are unable to travel down to Georgia for the weekend, here are four best golf courses in New England to satisfy that golf craving.

The Quechee Club is located just over the boarder from New Hampshire and is home to one of the most welcoming golf courses no matter the skill level.  The course is more of a links-style design that includes water features, bunkers and tees.  It's rolling fairways gives your ball the opportunity to go the extra distance. However, with the Ottauquechee River running next to the course, ball placement will be key to have a successful round.

2. Samoset Resort Golf Course - Rockport, Maine

Recently ranked as one of the Top 10 Destinations for Family Golf Trips in Golf Digest, January 2016, the Samoset Resort Golf course is open to all levels of golf.  Although, the course includes spectactular views of the Atlantic Ocean from 14 of it's 18 holes, the course will give you a challenge.  Watch out for one of the most challenging finishes on the eighteenth hole, 520 yard, par-five with a few other holes testing your golf skills.

3. Pease Golf Course - Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Pease Golf course offers 27 beautiful holes located in the woodlands of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. If the weather isn't the best and you still need to get your golf fix, try out their PGA Tour simulator. If that's not enough, the Thunderbird Air Force planes practice near by, so keep an eye out when you tee off!

Pinehills is a public golf course with a private club experience. Located in Plymouth, Massachusetts, not too far from Boston or the Cape. It includes two championship 18-hole golf courses, all set on 300 acres of rolling hills. After a long day out on the course, retire back to the Clubhouse for dinner or a drink.
