The natural beauty of the Connecticut River in Connecticut is vividly on display during an excursion by an antique steam-powered train and paddlewheel river boat. Depart from the historic train station in Essex  and enjoy the breeze through wide windows of vintage coaches clacking along the riverbank. At Deep River Landing, board the Becky Thatcher riverboat for a cruise up the Connecticut River, taking in wildlife and historic landmarks such as Gillette Castle and the Goodspeed Opera House. The round-trip adventure concludes with a train ride back to Essex Station.  It's all hosted by the Essex Steam Train and Riverboat.  Learn more
