The huts are four off-the-grid lodges situated along an 80-mile trail system. These warm and welcoming buildings include a spacious great room, cozy reading area, and a screened-in porch. Every hut is equipped with hot showers, toilets, heated bunk rooms and rooms for drying your outdoor equipment. Every hut has an outdoor fire pit and plenty of books and board games. Guests stay in shared bunk rooms but private bunk rooms are available.
Every season of the year except spring, huts are fully staffed. Daily meals are provided, along with some gear (like canoes and paddleboards and kayaks). You are welcome to travel by foot, snowshoe, bike of skis from one hut to the next. The huts are open in spring, but staffing is limited and meals are not served.)
You can choose from various trips, like hike-, paddle-, or splash-and-stay, shoreline treks, fly fishing and more. Or simply stay in one place and embrace the art of doing nothing.
MH&T even offers an Adventurer Type Quiz to help you figure out what you want to do and how deeply to dive into the experience.
